Scientific Advisors
Albert Fleischner, Ph.D.
Albert Fleischner, Ph.D. has a B.S. degree in Pharmacy and a M.S. & Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Rutgers University. Dr. Fleischner is a registered Pharmacist and a Board Certified Naturolpathic Physician (N.MD.) He currently serves in the dual capacity at Goen Technologies Incorporated as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Science Officer. Dr. Fleischner's diverse background qualifies him for his dual role. He is responsible for the development of all the TrimSpa and WinFuel products. He is well versed in all aspects of business. He has been awarded numerous patents and is the author of many peer review journal articles.
Dr. Fleischner has previously been associated with such companies as Lehn & Fink, Division of Sterling Drugs, Schering-Plough Corporation, Ford Laboratories, Roberts Pharmaceutical Corporation and Bradley Pharmaceutical Corporation.
Leonard L. Kaplan, Ph.D.
Leonard L. Kaplan, Ph.D. is a registered pharmacist and senior pharmaceutical executive with more than 40 years of experience in the fields of product research, development and management. Since 1995 he has been a private industry consultant to the pharmaceutical industry through the formation of his own consulting firm, PharmaQuality Associates.
Previously Dr. Kaplan worked for such distinguished companies as Johnson & Johnson, Richardson-Vicks, and Sterling Drug Incorporated. He has helped launch and/or develop products such as Bayer Plus, Phillips Flavored Milk of Magnesia, and SineAid sinus headache remedy, and was instrumental in the development of products such as Nonoxynol-9 for AIDS and sexually-transmitted disease prevention. Other products with which he has worked include prenatal high calcium vitamins, quinine preparation for muscle cramps, and anti-coagulation therapy for cardiac diseases, among others.
Dr. Kaplan's professional affiliations include memberships in: American Pharmaceutical Association; Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences; NPDMA Scientific Advisory Committee; Society of Cosmetic Chemists; and the National Alopecia Areata Foundation. He also holds six patents for various pharmaceutical applications and systems and has been published in at least a dozen scientific venues. These include: The American Journal of Pharmacology; the International Conference on AIDS in Stockholm, Sweden; and The Biomedical Marketing Association.
Robert Corbo
Robert Corbo has more than 20 years' experience in the fields of pharmaceutical product development; manufacturing, testing, validation, and quality assurance. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from the Regents Degree Program at Suny and was Vice President in charge of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs for Bradley Pharmaceuticals for almost a decade.
In his distinguished career he has been instrumental in improving the manufacturing environments and quality control for various forms of OTC (over the counter) products, including topical emulsions, liquids, tablets, capsules, patches, semi-solids, opthalmics, and aerosols. Mr. Corbo was also a Senior Laboratory Technician with Vicks Research, a Quality Control Director with S.S.S. Company, and a Quality Assurance Manager with Pharmaceutical Resources.
