PRODUCTION: In our brand new, multi-million dollar, state of the art manufacturing facility (that's right, we really do make our own products, in our own facility) we adhere to the "Good Manufacturing Practices" as outlined by the United States Government for consumable products. Many less expensive products are produced under questionable manufacturing methods, compromising freshness and potency and introducing toxic elements into products. We ensure our products are produced in the safest, most efficient manner. These methods include:

• COLD-PRESSED CAPSULES: Many commercially produced vitamin tablets are created by crushing nutrients under 50,000 pounds of pressure. This high pressure results in a sudden flash of heat that damages a supplement in the same manner that overcooking destroys nutrients in food. Capsules suffer from degradation too. Ingredients are granulated by friction grinding before they can be prepared for final encapsulation, producing heat damage similar to the pressure of tableting. CytoSport's capsule products, including Joint MatrixTM, utilize sophisticated cold processing to enclose ultra-fine, uncompressed powder into a capsule - resulting in optimal preservation of ingredients. NO heat damage, ever!

• INDOOR AIR QUALITY: Indoor air quality at our state-of-art-manufacturing facility is constantly monitored with zero tolerance for pollution or accumulated dust. We utilize a LTC, 10,000 CFM Pulse Jet Baghouse which features 1,350 sq. ft. of micron filter surface area. This equipment changes our entire production area air supply every 30 seconds! This results in a quality product for you and pleasant, safe working conditions for our production staff. Many manufacturing facilities have poor air circulation and ventilation. The accumulation of dust from the manufacturing process can contaminate products before they are sealed, and typically leads to unnecessarily high average plate counts. An independent analytical laboratory analyzes our daily production batches and monitors our plate counts at several times below industry average.

• "GREEN" MANUFACTURING: We make every effort to choose equipment and production methods that minimize pollution and environmental damage. Recyclable packaging and shipping material is used whenever possible.
• EXPERIENCE: Rich Bradford, our production supervisor/head mixer has 25 years of experience in the industry. His hands-on expertise is essential to the quality assurance of every single batch of product that leaves our building. Our CEO, Greg Pickett has been involved in nutritional supplement manufacturing since the inception of the industry nearly 30 years ago.
